With all due respect - clean your cage daily and the mouse will go away. Don’t even think of using sticky traps near a feathered animal - ever.

If a bird gets stuck to a glue trap (fly strip) use cooking oil to release the adhesive.

A lot of vets diagnose “zinc poisoning” when they have no other answers. Yes the washers have zinc. Your bird would have to climb  on the outside of the cage and chew the washer endlessly and even then the likely hood of illness is slim.

There is far more zinc in the no name cages sold on eBay and this is what people need to be concerned with.

We tried stainless steel washers but they were 4 times more expensive and nobody bought them
