I have African grey parrot and a African Cape. Only one bird will be on the stand at a time as I have a stand already. I want a stand to be kept outdoors.

Parrot Tower Jr Raised Play Stand for Medium & Small BirdsThe Prevue 3180 seems to be similar. If you think that is best choice you can switch order but please add rope to put around ladder and for toys. What size best 1/2 inch   40 feet

None of the stands we offer are made for outside use, they will all rust eventually. To prevent rusting, a wrought iron powder coat bird play stand would need to be heavy wrought iron that is heavily painted with a weather resistant paint and or galvanized.

Locating an outdoor stand is difficult as galvanizing is zinc plating and it is not considered bird safe. A wood stand, like manzanita would hold up better outside, but would bleach out or darken from the sun. A PVC stand would be good for outdoors.

The Parrot Tower Stands would not rust.

My White-Bellied Caique particularly loves to munch on “Mega Millet”* or “Giant Millet”* for a treat, but I do not see it any longer among your birds foods/seeds?  Do you still sell it?

*I believe it is actually Milo, or sorghum seeds.

Thanks.

Your bird is unique, in that he “likes it”. We have sold this product before and in general it was a slow mover once people tried it once on their birds.

It is indeed milo which is a filler for cheap bird food. It is not a typical seed or a nut, it is a grain which breaks up differently in the birds beak and does not have that satisfying crunch and appeal that our customers birds prefer.

Usually the bird are excited about it in the beginning but once they start on it, it ends up on the cage floor.

We can try bringing in a few packages of it again and see what happens. They would be presealed plastic bags, about 1/4 lb, I have to check.

If someone would want to enter animal raising business, why choose raising ducks? And how do you raise them? Many animal farmers are now considering raising ducks instead of the more popular counterpart, the chicken. This is because raising them is less expensive. Ducks are also more resistant against extreme weather. And they lay yummy eggs.

Raising and keeping ducks is becoming popular nowadays, on par with raising chicken. Primarily raised for their meat, more than 20 million ducks are being raised in the United States every year. Though they lay fewer eggs compared to chicken, their eggs are larger and tastier, plus they contain more nutrients too. Keeping ducks for business is relatively less troublesome too since ducks requires non-elaborate housing facilities.

Many animal raisers are now choosing ducks over the popular counterpart, the chicken. This is because duck meat now also receives an equal number of consumers with those of chicken meat. This is a guide to raising ducks, a bird species with 20 million of them being raised in the United States alone.
