Hen Arks are very popular amongst Poultry farmers for their easy to assemble, low- maintenance cost-effective setup. A typical Chicken ark is designed to hold upto 4 chickens, while other may hold up to 6 if they are made larger. It is recommended that 4 square feet of space be allowed per bird in a Chicken Ark minimum. As by this, if you have 4 birds then you should have at least have 16 Square feet for your birds.

Unfortunately chickens are really down in the food chain and have a lot to worry about as far as being eaten is concerned. In fact almost anything larger than a cat (or a cat)can lay its claim on a chicken and get away with it very easily unless preventive measures are taken against it.
